South for the Winter Day 1

Day 1

Well this past week Andrew & I took a week off and headed south to Busselton. We stayed at the Abbey Beach Resort which was very nice indeed. Nice room, nice view of 3 pools and the cafe. We are right on the beach so even better.

Being off season, it was really quiet, which was fantastic absolute peace! We've taken a walk around the hotel grounds and it's just huge. There's room for everyone to do something, art gallery, kids playground, tennis courts, gym, indoor heated pool & spa, squash court, great food & 2 bars.

On the first day we headed into town for a bit of shopping, did some relaxing then went to the cafe and had a scrumptious dinner then went back to the room where we lay & let our dinner go down. We discovered the cocktail for the week was a Jojo Ivory of which you know I had to have.
